Not too many years ago, when you talked about "the foothills", we were referring to the homes on the south side of the majestic Santa Catalina Mountains. In the 1980's, builders started going around the mountain and developing the west face of the Catalina's creating more "foothills"' homes. But even today, when we say "the foothills", most people still think of the original, prestigious, foothills' neighborhoods. Almost every lot is a full acre, and the rising terrain affords exquisite views of twinkling city lights. And being at the base of the towering Catalina's, majestic mountain peaks create a breathtaking backdrop for the homes. |
